Establishing Corporate Objectives
All benefit programs are subject to a fairly continuous process of change.
Defining corporate objectives provides a basis for controlling and shaping
the process of change. A review of corporate objectives should include:
- The role and purpose of benefit programs in employer's overall
compensation package.
- The relationship between employee and employer contributions.
- The appropriate level and design of benefit plans.
- The most effective strategy to communicate company sponsored
benefits to employees.
